1. Carrier Contributes to Reducing Food Waste with Refrigeration Technology
Carrier held the second World Cold Chain Summit to Reduce Food Waste in Singapore from December 2 to 3. This Summit convened global leaders in the supply chain private sector, academia, non-governmental organizations, and government to discuss food waste in emerging and developed economies.

2. Traydus Climate Announces Merger with Systemair Group
With 40 years of experience in the market, products commercialized in over 100 countries, and annual net sales of US$ 700 million, the Swedish group Systemair arrived in Brazil through acquisition of 75% of the company Traydus Climate Control.

3. ISHRAE and Pakistan HVAC&R Society Sign MoU
During the ASHRAE Region-at-Large meeting held in Istanbul, Turkey, in October, ISHRAE signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Pakistan HVAC&R Society in the presence of the president of ASHRAE and the presidents and presidential members from 25 chapters.

4. Haier Accelerates Commercial AC Market Development in Middle East
On November 23, Haier commercial air conditioners were debuted at Big5 exhibition in Dubai, obtaining an order of 5,600 units of its light commercial air conditioners on the first day of the exhibition.

5. Yanmar Acquires Majority Stake in German Manufacturer RMB
On November 26, Yanmar announced that it has acquired a majority stake in RMB, a German manufacturer of micro cogeneration systems. Yanmar is aiming to assume market leadership in the micro cogeneration unit sector and intends to launch the neoTower cogeneration unit on a global scale.
