Air-to-water (ATW) heat pumps have seen rapid growth in Europe over the past few years, as a trump card for achieving carbon neutrality in 2050 and as a means of offsetting rising gas prices in the context of the energy crisis.
The number of entrants in this promising market has increased, and in addition to Asian manufacturers, European players such as German manufacturers of combustion-type heating equipment have developed their own ATW heat pumps and have been actively promoting them to customers at exhibitions and other events. Meanwhile, Asian manufacturers have been investing in ATW heat pump plants in Europe to strengthen their local production and supply systems.
