On April 30, 2022, Highly and Voltas held an online signing ceremony to build a joint venture (JV) factory in Chennai, India.

Of the JV’s registered capital of 2.5 billion Indian rupees (INR) or about US$ 32 million, Highly Hong Kong accounts for 60% with INR 1.5 billion (about US$ 19 million) while Voltas accounts for 40% with INR 1 billion (about US$ 13 million). The new factory will be Highly’s second air conditioning compressor factory in India.
