In France, the government has decided to increase the MaPrimeRénov subsidy by €1,000 (about US$ 1,050) for any change in heating system to a renewable system, which makes it possible to replace a gas or oil-fired boiler, as part of its policy to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and the resilience plan announced by the Prime Minister on March 16. This increase takes effect for all aid application files submitted from April 15 until December 31, 2022. In addition, from January 1, 2023, MaPrimeRénov packages for the installation of new gas boilers will cease.
