The Japan Institute of Design Promotion, the organizer of the Good Design Award, announced the Award recipients for 2021 on October 20. The organization started accepting entries for the Good Design Award 2021 on April 1, and following the screening of 5,835 entries, a total of 1,608 award-winning works have been determined.

Good Design Award has been a sole comprehensive design evaluation and commendation system in Japan since 1957.
