The International Monetary Fund (IMF) predicted in June that the economy of sub-Saharan Africa was expected to shrink by 3.2% in 2020. The two major economies in the region, Nigeria and South Africa, were estimated to contract by 5.4 and 8% respectively. Such economic contraction also casts a shadow on the commercial air conditioning market in Africa.
