The COVID-19 pandemic has raised interest in indoor air quality (IAQ). In order to prevent COVID-19 infection, it is reportedly important to secure social distance and ventilation and also to apply the same preventive measures as those used to combat influenza such as wearing a mask, washing hands, and gargling. However, such preventive measures have not been applied uniformly across the globe due to different customs in different countries and regions.
