In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, indoor air quality is attracting more attention in Japan too. To address pandemic-related needs, Japanese manufacturers offer room air conditioners (RACs) adopting various air purifying and disinfect functions. Daikin’s Urusara X wall-mounted type RAC for the 2020 season is the only RAC that can offer air conditioning while ventilating.
