Mitsubishi Electric’s Shizuoka Works Focus on High-quality AC Products Combining Advanced Automation with Skilled Craftsmanship

Mitsubishi Electric, which manufactures air conditioners at its factory in Shizuoka City, Japan, opened its production line to the press to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the factory’s founding. All Mitsubishi Electric Kirigamine room air conditioners (RACs) shipped to Japan are manufactured at this Shizuoka Factory, and to date, approximately 44 million units have been shipped nationwide from this production plant. Mitsubishi Electric is committed to domestic production in order to respond to customer needs in a timely manner.
