Pascal Raises US$ 8 Million for Solid Refrigerant Air Conditioners

Pascal, a Boston-based startup launched out of Harvard University, announced on May 8 that it had raised US$ 8 million in seed funding. Pascal was formed for the purpose of developing a novel class of solid refrigerants for use in HVAC equipment. It plans to use the seed funding toward the launch of a commercial HVAC system using solid refrigerant as well as to expand its team of mechanical engineers, materials scientists, and chemists.
