1. HVAC Manufacturers Are Indispensable to Data Centers - Data Centre World Frankfurt
Data Centre World took place on May 22 to 23, 2024, at Messe Frankfurt in Germany, as part of Tech Show Frankfurt with other three leading technology events: Cloud Expo Europe, Cloud and Cyber Security Expo, and Big Data and AI World. Data Centre World Frankfurt is a global conference for data center professionals and also a gathering of industry professionals and end-users.

2. Copeland to Invest £19 M in Compressor Production in Ireland
Copeland is investing £19 million (about US$ 24 million) in its Cookstown, Northern Ireland, compressor manufacturing facility. This new investment will increase production capacity in order to meet rising Euro-pean demand for sustainable low-carbon heat pumps. The investment includes a 3,500-m2 building expansion including new production lines which will significantly increase both overall plant production, and the flexibility to meet future demand.

3. China Heat Pump Forum to Disperse Advanced Heating Technology
The 2024 China Heat Pump Industry Annual Conference and China Heat Pump Forum (CHPF) will be held on August 6 to 8 at the Shanghai Fuyue Hotel in the Songjiang District of Shanghai, China, announced by the China Heat Pump Alliance (CHPA) that consists of members of the Heat Pump Committee of the China Energy Conservation Association (CECA). International Copper Association (ICA) Asia will also contribute to the event as a co-organizer. ICA Asia is a leading advocate for the Asian copper industry, covering China, India, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asian countries from its base in Beijing.

4. Systemair Advances the Middle East’s Vision for Sustainable Growth and Healthy Air
JARN interviewed Kurt Maurer, market area director Asia and Middle East, Systemair Group, and Khalil El Ghazzi, managing director, Systemair Saudi Arabia, who gave insights into the global ventilation company’s new factory in Riyadh, the capital city in Saudi Arabia, increased investment in the region, and the values driving the group’s 50 years in the business.

5. Samsung Announces Establishment of JV with Lennox
Samsung Electronics announced at the end of May that it has agreed to form a joint venture (JV) with Lennox to sell ductless heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in the United States and Canada. Samsung will own 50.1% of the JV, Samsung Lennox HVAC North America, and Lennox will own the remaining 49.9%.
