Canadian British Columbia Province Boosts Heat Pump Rebates

The federal government of Canada and Province of British Columbia (BC) have earmarked 254 million Canadian dollars (C$) (about US$ 186 million) to expand the rebates offered to households for replacing their oiland gas-fired heating systems. The added rebates boost the support available from the existing rebate program in BC by some 70%.
