LG Ties in with AC Compressor Production with Shaker in Saudi Arabia

LG Electronics (LG) has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (Shaker Group), Saudi Arabia’s leading importer, manufacturer, and distributor of air conditioners and home appliances, and the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA) to manufacture air conditioning compressors in Saudi Arabia. This groundbreaking agreement is set to fortify the longstanding partnership between LG and Shaker, building upon their successful joint venture (JV) factory in Riyadh that has produced air conditioning units for the local and international markets since 2008.
