Steep Decline in New Builds in France

FFB, the French building federation, is extremely concerned about a decline in new builds in France in 2024 and the decline is expected to continue in 2025. The new housing and the renovation segments and the construction of new commercial premises are declining markedly. FFB considers that a lack of sound medium-term policy underlies the decline. And a decline in new builds exerts a negative impact on the entire heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) sector.
