Science Based Targets initiative confirms Wilo Group’s ambitious climate goals

Dortmund. Last year, the Wilo Group submitted its targets for decreasing their CO2 emission to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The short- and long-range emission reduction targets have now been confirmed by the initiative. Wilo’s net-zero targets until 2050 have also been verified. The technology group’s sustainability commitment is thus officially contributing to the achievement of the 1.5 degree target as agreed in the Paris Agreement. The SBTi has only reviewed 5,100 companies so far.
