Hitachi–Johnson Controls Air Conditioning: Beltless System PAC

Hitachi–Johnson Controls Air Conditioning has developed a packaged air conditioner (PAC) indoor unit for equipment that uses a beltless system (direct drive system). Shipments will begin in April 2024. The beltless method is superior in work efficiency and maintainability compared with the existing pulley-belt method. Furthermore, the new product has an improved coefficient of performance (COP) compared with existing products. It enables the performing of air conditioning of large spaces such as factories, banks, drugstores, and department stores through ducts.
