Compressor Market Reports in 2023 - Europe

The European compressor market was quite robust in 2023, despite the uncertainity caused by the revision of the F-gas Regulation.

Manufacturers have developed and are refining future-ready solutions with products available for a variety of low-global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant alternatives to F-gases, or for natural refrigerants. The installed base of traditional high-GWP hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant aplications remains high, and mass production deployment of alternatives has yet to kick in. That is why HFC compressors are still playing a key role, keeping final users up to speed and operative with their existing systems and installations.
