GEA Supplies Two Large HPs for the Neukölln District Heating Plant

GEA is supplying two large heat pumps for the Neukölln district heating plant (FHW) to support climate-friendly district heating generation for households in the Berlin districts of Neukölln and Kreuzberg. The 8.5-ton systems at the heart of the heat transition at the Berlin-Neukölln district heating plant (FHW), are also a key component of the ‘Real-world laboratory of the energy transition’ nationwide research project. This project was initiated by the German government and is financially supported by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection.
