ATW Heat Pump Sales in France in 2023

In terms of refrigerants, in France, 62% of ATW heat pumps adopt R32 refrigerant. Heat pumps adopting R290 (propane), which has a GWP of 3, are gaining ground. A total of 6% of ATW heat pumps sold in 2023 adopted R290, up from 3% in 2022. Sales of ATW heat pumps operating on R410A are declining, but still represented 32% of total sales in 2023.
