Europe experienced mild weather most of the time in 2023, but several parts of southern Europe including Spain suffered from sizzling heat waves. The RAC market grew fast, and a lot of inventory has been digested. However, Italy, the primary market, did not see hot sales, and the markets in countries in the middle latitudes such as Belgium and Germany registered sluggish growth which fell short of expectations.
