JRAIA Kobe Symposium Shows Latest Sustainable AC&R Technologies

The International Symposium on New Refrigerants and Environmental Technology 2023 (abbreviated as Kobe Symposium), organized by Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association (JRAIA), was held at the International Conference Center Kobe on November 16 and 17, 2023. Before the pandemic, this international conference had been held biennially since 2010, but in 2021, the sixth symposium was conducted online following a threeyear break, then this event returned in a face-to-face format two years later. This seventh event was held in a hybrid format with 631 registerers, of whom 130 for online participation. Noteworthy was the significant international presence, with 80 participants from nine foreign countries.
