BCIA: updates and plans for 2024

The BCIA’s Young Engineers Network (YEN) held its latest meeting on Friday 24th November 2023 to discuss plans for 2024.A group of volunteers from the YEN are assisting the BCIA with the development of an industry presentation that employers can use when going into schools (aiming at secondary Y9+), UTCs, sixth form and colleges. The aim of the presentation is to inspire younger students to consider the scope of building controls and explain a little about what they are, the pathways into the industry and some of the skills needed to succeed in the sector.
