On October 12, 2023, Hitachi– Johnson Controls Air Conditioning held a new product presentation and growth strategy briefing session. The company has set stable supply availability as one of its growth strategies. Production of the Slim room air conditioner (RAC) model which had previously been produced in China, began at the Tochigi plant in spring 2023, and has significantly shortened lead time.
