Market Share of Screw Chillers Continues to Fall in the First Half of 2023

According to aircon.com, screw chillers including water-cooled screw chillers, air-cooled screw chillers, and water and ground-source heat pump (GSHP) chillers, saw a total market share of 5.5% in the first half of 2023, falling year on year. In addition to the impact of the pandemic, penetration of variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems and centrifugal chillers also contributed to the shrinkage of the total screw chiller market.
