Air Conditioner Sales in Domestic Market Slump in July

The first half of 2023 has come to an end, and driven by rising inelastic demand and high temperatures, the air conditioner market presented satisfactory performance in the first half of 2023. According to AVC statistics, China’s air conditioner market has seen its full channel sales volume reach 37.265 million units in the first half of 2023, rising by 18.8% year on year; and the sales value reached RMB 130.16 billion (about US$ 17.94 billion), growing by 19.5% year on year.
