Growth Rate of the CAC Market Shows Differences by Region

In the first half of 2023, in an economic environment that embraced nor mal operations, China has seen its commercial air conditioner (CAC) industry achieve 1.3% growth; however, 21 regional markets are monitored by i Media. Half of these regional markets, including Jiangsu, Guangdong, Shandong, Tianjin, Hebei, and Northeastern China have suffered declines to different degrees, and the overall market was not as optimistic as that reflected in statistics. Heavy pressure in channel inventory, a sluggish terminal market, extended project cycles, and a slow withdrawal of funds are all pain points in the CAC industry, which is progressing with a headwind.
