Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Nippon Shokubai Conclude Agreement on Joint Development of an Ammonia Cracking System

Tokyo, August 21, 2023 - Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) and NIPPON SHOKUBAI CO., LTD. (Nippon Shokubai) have reached an agreement on joint development of an ammonia cracking system, expecting establishment of a hydrogen and ammonia supply chain that enables high-volume transport.
