Massachusetts Announces Creation of Massachusetts Community Climate Bank

On June 13, Governor Maura Healey of Massachusetts announced the creation of the Massachusetts Community Climate Bank. This so-called green bank is designed to maximize building sector investment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions with a focus on affordable housing. It will start operations with US$ 50 million in funds from the state’s Department of Environmental Protection.
