According to statistics from AVC released on May 15, air conditioner sales saw a combined retail value of RMB 12.2 billion (about US$ 1.72 billion) during the Labor Day holiday, showing 32.4% year-on-year growth; the retail volume was 3.2 million units, rising by 24.3% year on year.
