Panasonic to Release Eco Cute Models that Make Effective Use of PV Power

On April 6, 2023, Panasonic Heating & Ventilation A/C Company held a press conference to announce its new residential Eco Cute heat pump water heater (HPWH) models using CO2. The new models incorporate a Smart Solar Charge function that predicts photovoltaic (PV) power output based on the forecast for the amount of solar radiation using a dedicated Eco Cute app, which is the first in the industry, and automatically heats water. The new models will be placed on the market on June 26, 2023.
