Noritz Adds Prioritizing Use of PV Power Model to Its Yukoa Hybrid

On April 3, 2023, Noritz added a lineup of new models prioritizing the use of photovoltaic (PV) power to its Yukoa Hybrid series of hybrid water heating systems used for single-family houses. Conventional models had required users to select a mode that prioritizes the self-consumption of solar PV power, while in the new products, a mode that prioritizes the use of PV power is predetermined as a standard setting. Making hot water through the effective use of generated power has reduced primary energy consumption by about 45%.
