Domestic Freezer Sales Drop by 23.1% in China in 2022

From January to December 2022, domestic freezers saw production reach 22.347 million units nationwide, falling by 23.1% year on year. In 2020, driven by the pandemic, rising demand for domestic freezers boosted the production volume which reached more than 30 million units, rising by 40.1% compared with 2019. 2021 saw the production volume of domestic freezers decreases to 29.06 million units, falling by 4.5% compared with 2020, but the volume was nevertheless higher than that in 2019.
