Poka-yoke is a lean production technique for quality control, which translates as "error-proof". The concept has long existed in various forms and brings numerous benefits to organizational and operational processes. This methodology aims to prevent defects in processes, resulting from human error. Its uniqueness therefore lies in the fact that it is a preventive form of quality control since errors are detected and therefore corrected before they can even occur.
