Saving 50% energy in paper industry through heat pumps

The paper industry could cut its energy bills in half by using heat pumps, a recent joint paper from EHPA and the paper manufacturing sector association, Cepi, found. This massive energy saving would also be key to decarbonising one of Europe’s energy-intensive sectors. But EU regulators need to speed up incentives for affordable clean energy.
