National Energy Administration Approves Three ASHP Standards

Recently, the National Energy Administration released its fifth announcement in 2022, approving release of three air‑source heat pump (ASHP) energy industry standards, namely the ‘NB/ T 11039‑2022: Technical Specification for Application of ASHP in Livestock Farms’, ‘NB/T 11040‑2022: Domestic Air-source Direct Expansion Heat Pump for Floor Heating’, and ‘NB/T 110412022: Specification for Built‑in Zero‑cold Water System of ASHP water heater’. These three industry standards were drafted by the China Energy Saving Association, and will be enforced beginning on May 4, 2023.
