Groundbreaking! Midea's new European base in Italy

On October 14, 2022, in order to accelerate the globalization layout of Midea, seize the opportunity of carbon neutrality and deepen the European HVAC market, the foundation stone of the new European Production and R&D base of Midea Building Technologies was officially laid in Feltre, northeastern Italy.
The newly built production and R&D base is located in a factory of Clivet in Feltre, Italy, the high-end commercial air conditioner brand of MBT. In 2016 MBT acquired 80% stake in Clivet with the purpose of developing the European HVAC market.
