Mitsubishi Electric: Golden Macadamias

Our South African distributor Intramech has supplied two Climaveneta branded multi-function units for the processing plant of Golden Macadamias in Mbombela. Energy Partners did the design and installation. Golden Macadamias is the single largest processor of macadamia nuts in the world, and they required both heating and cooling for their curing and processing facility. The facility will eventually have two curing groups, with each group containing 20 curing systems. Each curing system consists of 18 bins (8 tons of nuts per bin). Currently, only the first group has been built which can hold up to 2880 tons of macadamia nuts for curing.
