Panasonic Accelerates Investment in Air-to-water Heat Pump production in its Czech factory

Osaka, Japan – Panasonic Corporation today announced that it would invest about 20 billion yen （approx. 145 million euros） in its Czech Plant by the Fiscal Year ending in March 2026 to strengthen the production of air-to-water heat pumps (A2W), which have been experiencing growing demand in Europe.
Air-to-water heat pumps, which collect and use heat from the air, emit less CO2 than conventional combustion heaters that use fossil fuels. Demand for these eco-friendly heating systems is growing in the European market.
