Technical Trend-Portable Air Conditioners

Air conditioners consist of centralized air conditioning types such as chillers and unitary systems, types with the combined features of centralized air conditioning and individual air conditioning such as multisplit systems, and individual air conditioning types such as window units, single-split systems, and portable systems. Air conditioners with the exception of the portable type are called stationary type because they are installed and used in a certain place, whereas the portable type is the only movable air conditioner. The background behind portable air conditioners is unclear. It is considered to be a product aimed at realizing cooling in various places by adding the value of mobility to window types, as a means to easily weather out the summer in areas where cooling is needed for a short period only. Portable air conditioners are often used in hotels in northern Europe, for example, where air conditioners are rarely needed, in order to respond to requests from visitors who complain about the heat. Due to their high mobility, portable air conditioners are considered to have ubiquitous demand, not only residential demand but also commercial demand.
