High Temperatures Hit Most Regions in China, Leading to Hot AC Sales

From June to July 12, 2022, China has seen its high temperature days increase to 5.3 days, 2.4 days longer than usual when compared year on year. This is a record high for the same period of time since 1961. Since June 13, China has gone through the first regional high temperature whether this year, featuring large-scale, long-lasting, temperature extremes. Until July 12, the high temperatures lasted for 30 consecutive days, covering 5.021 million km2 across China and impacting a population of over 900 million.
