Toshiba Carrier Contributes to Improved Value of Agricultural Products

Toshiba Carrier has entered into a partnership with Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture, to improve the value of agricultural products and to develop them as the sixth industry. Based on the partnership agreement, both organizations will consider not just improving the quality of refrigerated and frozen agricultural products, but also industrializing agricultural products as the sixth industry by combining the first, second, and third industries ranging from cultivation to processing to sales, and aim to establish a business model with high profitability.
