Chinese RAC Exports Decreases by 12.8% in April

The closure of Shanghai for two months has not only impacted China’s domestic market, but has also impacted exports of air conditioners.

According to customs information, including import and export statistics, room air conditioners (RACs) saw an export volume of 5.74 million units in April, 2022, falling by 12.8% year on year; the export value exceeded RMB 6.217 billion (about US$ 933.3 million), but droped by 0.6% year on year.
