QGO Project by TraneEMSD-HKGBC Honored with 3 ASHRAE Awards

Trane Hong Kong has recently won three ASHRAE Technology Awards conferred by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), in recognition of its chiller retrofitting project involving four new Trane CenTraVac chillers at the Queensway Government Offices (QGO). These chillers applied next-generation hydrofluoroolefin ( HFO) refrigerant R 514A, and helped QGO reduce energy consumption by 30% and save millions of dollars of operating costs.
