1. Data Center Cooling
The global market for data center cooling is estimated to have surpassed US$ 12.228 billion in 2021 and is projected to surpass US$ 53.945 billion in 2030, and the compound annual growth rate (CAGR) during the period from 2022 to 2030 is expected to grow by 16%, according to a report released by Panorama Data Insights on March 16, 2022.

2. Heat Pump Sales Soar in Finland
Sales of heat pumps soared during the first quarter of 2022 in Finland. According to statistics from SULPU, Finnish Heat Pump Association, sales of air-to-air (ATA) heat pumps grew by as much as 120%, air-to- water (ATW) heat pumps increased by 40%, and ground-source heat pumps (GSHPs) by 35%.

3. Carrier Launches AquaEdge 19MV Centrifugal Chiller in North Asia
On May 20, 2022, Carrier China unveiled the innovative AquaEdge 19MV oil-free water-cooled centrifugal chiller designed to deliver reliable performance, high efficiency, easy installation, and a wide operating range. With a capacity of 300 to 700 tons (1,055 to 2,461 kW), the AquaEdge 19MV combines best-in- segment efficiency for design and the ability to operate under severe conditions due to unexpected building operation or extreme weather.

4. TCL Deploys Commercial AC Ranges
On May 17, 2022, TCL Commercial Air Conditioning Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park was officially put into operation. On this occasion, JARN interviewed Chen Shaolin, vice president of TCL Industry and general manager of TCL Air Conditioning Business Unit, to hear about the company’s business strategy focusing on the commercial air conditioning segment.

5. Togami Electric Achieves Cumulative Sales of 13 M BR Series PCB Relays
In July 2022, Togami Electric announced that the cumulative sales of the BR series of printed circuit board (PCB) relays reached 13 million units. The BR series is specialized in inrush current suppression circuit for inverters. The key features are size and capacity. The size of the BR series is same as that of the 20 AF relay, but its capacity is 40A. This enables users to replace two 20 AF relays with a single BR series PCB relay.
