MHI Receives the Highest Excellent Energy Conservation Equipment Award

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration (MHI-AC&R), received the Energy Conservation Center, Japan (ECCJ) Best Award ( Repair Equipment Category), the highest rank of the 39th Excellent Energy Conservation Equipment Award sponsored by the Japan Association of Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Contractors (JARAC). The introduction of GARTZE75I.HP, the heat recovery-type centrifugal chiller manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Thermal Systems (MHI Thermal Systems) into a part of the existing heating equipment of the factory air conditioner, was highly evaluated for the effects of its energy savings and CO2 emissions reductions. This is the first time that MHI-AC&R has won the award.
