Spool Compressor Achieves Ultra-Low Global Warming Efficiency Milestone

Cumming, Georgia -- (June 20, 2022) – TORAD today announced that its spool compressor technology has achieved the efficiency milestones necessary for cost effective adoption of Low/Ultra-Low GWP HFO refrigerants in light-commercial chiller and heat-pump applications. This includes refrigerants such as Opteon™ XP10 (R-513A, GWP-573) and Solstice® ze (HFO-1234ze, GWP<1).
