ATW Heat Pumps Still Promising in Europe Despite Soaring Energy Prices

JARN estimates that European demand for air-to-water (ATW) heat pump systems in 2021 increased by about 40% compared with 2020. Thanks to their advantages including high energy efficiency and renewable energy use, ATW heat pumps are highly evaluated in the context of carbon neutral polices bringing about a shift away from fossil fuels, and they are also eligible for subsidies. Therefore, the European ATW heat pump market is still promising in 2022, despite soaring energy prices.
