Gree’s Smart Factory to Start Trial Operation in 2022

At the Gree Electric (Zhuhai Gaolan Harbor) Industry Park, which is located at Pingsha County, Jinwan District, the construction of five buildings has been completed. Phase 1 of this project is expected to complete in October this year and will begin a stage of trial operations, mainly producing room air conditioners (RACs).
This project covers an area of 1.586 million m2, with a total construction area of 1.96 million m2. The total investment amounted to RMB 15 billion (about US$ 2.36 billion), and the project is expected to achieve an annual production value of RMB 18.1 billion (about 2.84 billion) after completion.
