JRAIA Clarifies Its Stance on Reviewed GWPs in AR6

On August 9, 2021, the ‘Climate Change 2021: The Physical Science Basis’ was published by the Working Group I contribution to the Sixth Assessment Report (AR6) of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). In this report, the global warming potential (GWP) values of chemical substances have been reviewed and the GWPs of many hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) have been raised compared with the conventional values.
