At the end of 2021, the 26th session of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26), the 16th session of the Conference of the Parties Serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP16), etc. were held in Glasgow, the United Kingdom. During these events, it was stipulated that the contracting countries are being asked to come forward with ambitious 2030 green-house gas emissions reductions targets that align with reaching net zero by the middle of the century. In this context, further technological innovation will be required to promote energy conservation and to use renewable energy.
